If you ever get to the end of a busy day and think, “What on earth did I actually achieve?” — this one’s for you.

Because most business owners aren’t lazy.
They’re just leading with reaction instead of intention.

You start the day meaning to post, plan, and progress… but before you know it you’re answering messages, fixing tech, updating Canva, and wondering how it’s 3 p.m. already.

That’s why I created the RULE Method — a simple, structured way to take back control of your workday so you rule it, instead of letting it rule you.

? The RULE Method

R – Revenue
Start with the work that moves money.
Send the invoice. Post the offer. Follow up with that lead.
These are the tasks that actually grow your business — and yet, they’re often the first ones we avoid.
The Queen move? Do the revenue work before you check your inbox.

U – Unshakable Commitments
Next, honour what you’ve already promised.
Client projects, calls, deliverables — the things people have paid for or are expecting from you.
Doing this second keeps your reputation solid and your energy clean.
You can’t lead with confidence if you’re secretly behind on delivery.

L – Legacy Building
Then, move to the work that strengthens your foundation.
This is the long-game stuff: building funnels, writing email sequences, creating templates, automating systems.
Legacy tasks might not bring cash today, but they’re what allow you to scale tomorrow.
This is where your empire gets its structure.

E – Eliminate
Finally — the fun (and sometimes brutal) part.
Eliminate the fluff.
All the “busy work” that feels productive but isn’t.
The tenth tweak of your logo. The colour-coded Trello board. The Canva rabbit hole.
If it doesn’t directly serve Revenue, Unshakable, or Legacy work… it’s not ruling behaviour, it’s distraction in disguise.

? How to Use RULE Every Day

  1. Write your to-do list.
  2. Label each task R, U, L, or E.
  3. Tackle in order: R → U → L → E.
  4. End your day knowing you moved money, honoured commitments, and built something that lasts.

Simple. Strategic. Sovereign.

You don’t need more hours in the day — you need hierarchy.
When you RULE your priorities, everything else falls into place.

So tomorrow morning, before you dive into the chaos, ask yourself one question:
“Am I ruling the day… or is the day ruling me?”
