Shelly Shulman · Where’s The Money Going?
What will a leaky system
cost you when you grow?
Most people try to get more leads and fix the system later. This shows you why that’s expensive.
Set your opt-in goal – the number of new email subscribers you want each month. Then tell the calculator what you currently have in place. It will show you how much leaks away every month if the system isn’t built right before those leads arrive.
Your growth goal
Set to zero if you don’t have one. The calculator shows what that opportunity is worth.

A quick note about your results
Your results are estimates, not a prediction or guarantee of revenue. The calculator uses a combination of published industry data and modelling assumptions to estimate the potential value of gaps in your customer journey.
Your actual results will vary depending on your audience, offer, pricing, traffic, messaging and conversion rates. The purpose of the calculator is to help you see where the biggest opportunities may be, so you can decide what to look at first.
How are these figures calculated?
This calculator uses a combination of published industry data and modelling assumptions to estimate the potential value of common gaps within a sales system.
- Cart abandonment: based on Baymard Institute’s aggregated research into online shopping cart abandonment.
- Abandoned-cart recovery: modelled using email recovery performance data and an assumed recovery rate.
- Email and funnel conversion: modelled using indicative conversion assumptions rather than guaranteed conversion rates.
- Thank-you-page offers, freebie alignment and disconnected systems: these use modelling assumptions to illustrate the potential financial impact of each gap because there is no single conversion benchmark that applies to every business.
These figures are therefore illustrative. They are designed to help you identify and prioritise potential opportunities within your customer journey, not predict the revenue your business will generate.
Published data sources include: Baymard Institute, Klaviyo and Statista.
